Quote 1: Sometimes I think that the birds get angry at me for eating their food.

I think that he has gotten so board because he has nothing, or nobody to talk to. He has been reduced to talking to bird. I think that he is a little sad ( as in a sad case). He has to be board. The gay tries to not think every day isn't that pretty wacky.
Question: Do you think that's healthy.
Quote 2: Here I am with another group of boys.

I think him going from group to group is not healthy He like moving from foster home to foster home. I not imaginable, but yet it happens to this poor guy.
Question: What happens when he turns insane?

  1. Response: I can understand why the birds get angry for Ishmael eating their food. Food was probably scarce. Not only the birds must compete with other birds but now humans as well. Ishmael has a tough life and he can't eat just anything he wish due to him in hiding. With the rebels taking the villager's food Ishmael had to resort to eating what was available.
Answer: I think it is unhealthy to eat the bird's food depending on what it is. It might have something in it that you aren't supposed to eat. Eating bird food can probably get you food poison.

  2. I disagree, I don't think Ishmael is crazy to see the birds anger. I think him being alone makes him able to see more of what it going on around him, so the birds are actually angry with him.

ANSWER: It can't be healthy for anyone to eat only fruit. That's not a balanced meal.

Though it's Ishmael's only choice to change these groups. It's the easiest way to survive.

ANSWER: I hope he doesn't go insane. But when he does I imagine he'll stop thinking about anything other than surviving.
